Job summary

Innovative Solutions is seeking a Security Operation Center Analyst - L1 to join our GCC-based SOC team in Riyadh. You will monitor security events, perform initial triage, and respond to potential threats using a range of security tools.

Responsibilities include incident containment, collaboration with teammates, documentation, and staying current with threats and industry trends. Shift work and on-call rotation are part of the role, with a focus on maintaining strong security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Certifications such as Security+, Network+, CISSP, or CEH preferred.
• Knowledge of information security concepts and best practices.
• Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, firewalls, and EPP.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to work in shifts and on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security events and alerts from various sources.
• Triage and analyze security incidents and determine response actions.
• Perform initial containment and remediation tasks.
• Collaborate with SOC team to investigate and resolve incidents.
• Document and report incidents and response activities.
• Maintain and update security process documentation.
• Analyze network traffic and logs to identify threats.
• Stay updated on threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Participate in regular training and knowledge sharing.
