Wood is seeking a Lead Construction & Pre-Commissioning professional to support a new gold mine and processing facility at a remote site in Saudi Arabia. The role requires reviewing execution plans, monitoring progress on-site, and managing interfaces among multiple contractors to ensure safe, compliant progress.

You will oversee mechanical completion, support commissioning, and drive discipline documentation, risk mitigation, and effective team leadership across the project lifecycle.

Qualificações

• Typically qualified to ISCED Level 6 (Bachelor's) in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of construction experience if degree qualified, or 10 years if trade qualified.
• Excellent technical knowledge of construction discipline and processes.
• Ability to identify risk to delivery and implement mitigation plans.
• Expert level experience in interpreting discipline documentation.
• Advanced knowledge of RA, HAZOPS, and HAZIDS.
• Understands business drivers and can influence through innovative designs and cost-effective solutions.
• Experienced in supervising and managing others and delegating work.

Responsabilidades

• Review construction execution plans, schedules, and method statements.
• On-site presence to monitor construction progress, contractor performance, and safety and quality standards.
• Support in resolving technical queries, managing field changes, and updating as-built documentation; interface management among contractors and stakeholders.
• Oversight of mechanical completion, punch-list closure, and support during commissioning and pre-startup phases.
