Job summary

Bayt AlTawabel in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Site Engineer Manager to oversee on-site execution of construction, fit-out, and development projects. You will manage day-to-day activities, coordinate contractors and consultants, supervise finishing and interior works, and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, schedules, quality, and safety.

This hands-on, on-site role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and effective leadership to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction project supervision and site management.
• Proven experience coordinating contractors, subcontractors, and project teams on-site.
• Strong knowledge of finishing and interior fit-out works.
• MEP coordination experience.
• Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm systems knowledge is required.
• Ability to read plans, drawings, layouts, site plans, and specifications.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer Manager to oversee the on-site execution of our construction, fit-out, and development projects in Riyadh.

The Site Engineer Manager will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, coordinating contractors and consultants, supervising finishing and interior works, and ensuring that projects are executed according to approved drawings, technical specifications, schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements.

This is a hands-on, site-based role requiring strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, contractor management skills, and the ability to identify and resolve technical and execution issues before they impact project quality or timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the day-to-day execution of construction and fit-out activities across assigned project sites.
• Supervise finishing and interior works, ensuring execution is aligned with approved designs, drawings, specifications, and required quality standards.
• Review, coordinate, and follow up on architectural and engineering drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and site plans.
• Ensure approved drawings and technical requirements are correctly implemented on-site.
• Supervise and coordinate Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems, ensuring compliance with approved designs and applicable safety requirements.
• Coordinate Civil, Architectural, MEP, Fire Fighting, and Fire Alarm activities to minimize conflicts and execution issues.
• Conduct regular site inspections and monitor the quality of workmanship and materials.
• Coordinate effectively with contractors, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project stakeholders.
• Identify technical and site-related issues and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented and followed through to completion.
• Monitor project schedules and construction progress and proactively identify potential delays or execution risks.
• Prepare regular site and progress reports, including technical observations, outstanding issues, risks, and required actions.
• Ensure contractors and site teams execute work according to the approved schedule and required quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements across project sites.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and contractors when required.
• Maintain proper project documentation, including drawings, site instructions, inspections, technical records, and related project documentation.
• Support project inspections, snagging, handover, and close-out activities as required.
• Work closely with internal departments and project stakeholders to support successful and timely project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction project supervision, site engineering, and site management.
• Proven experience managing construction activities, contractors, subcontractors, and project teams on-site.
• Strong practical experience in finishing and interior fit-out works.
• Strong knowledge of construction execution and MEP coordination.
• Practical experience with Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Systems is required.
• Strong ability to read, review, and interpret plans, shop drawings, layouts, site plans, and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of construction quality standards, site inspections, project documentation, and HSE requirements.
• Valid membership with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).
• Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication, coordination, leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Ability and willingness to work on-site in Riyadh and conduct regular field inspections.

Experience in hospitality, F&B, restaurant, retail, or high-quality commercial fit-out projects will be considered a strong advantage.
