Job summary

Air Products is seeking an experienced Site EH&S Supervisor to lead safety and environmental concerns for a major 380kV Substation and related transmission work in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee site safety programs, drive a Total Safety Culture, and coordinate with contractors and field teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or EHS, NEBOSH IGC, and 10+ years of experience in substation/OHTL projects, with strong leadership, English fluency, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or environmental, Health and Safety or any relevant field.
• NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a mandatory requirement.
• At least ten (10) years of experience handling EH&S in substation and OHTL projects.
• Strong understanding of environmental, occupational health and safety codes, standards, and regulations.
• Experience in incident investigations and supervisory duties.
• Excellent supervisory, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to remote project sites and work long hours.
• KSA driving license is a must; international license advantageous.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Support full implementation of the EH&S plan for the project.
• Promote a Total Safety Culture and lead related activities.
• Coach EH&S team members and Contractors.
• Support Contractors’ HAZID and Emergency Response processes.
• Ensure EH&S risks are assessed with mitigation in place.
• Coordinate inspections and audits at the accountable area.
• Ensure safety equipment is inspected and compliant.
• Oversee Permit to Work and LOTO processes at site.
• Review subcontractors’ safety programs and practices.
• Provide EH&S information to the site team as required.
• Coordinate safety training for Contractor organizations.
• Lead safety promotions, events, and campaigns.
• Escalate issues to Air Products EH&S Lead or Manager.
• Review JSAs to ensure risk mitigation; attend TBTs and PTW/JSA reviews.
