Job summary

Sarj AI is building voice AI capabilities in a fast-growing tech start-up, delivering telephony innovations for enterprise clients in the KSA. The SIP/VoIP Engineer will own integrations, ensure reliable voice solutions, and collaborate with Operations and Engineering on client projects.

You’ll work on custom call flows, SBCs, and WebRTC handoffs, while engaging with B2B and G clients to deploy and troubleshoot solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English with strong client-facing communication.
• 4+ years of SIP/VoIP engineering or telephony integrations.
• Deep knowledge of SIP, RTP, SDP, call routing, and VoIP networking.
• Software development experience to build integrations and APIs beyond telephony platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Asterisk, FreeSWITCH, Kamailio, or commercial SBCs.
• Experience with Saudi telecom carriers, WebRTC, and enterprise telephony platforms (Genesys, Avaya, or Cisco).

Role Overview

As a SIP/VoIP Engineer, you’ll help build Sarj’s telephony capabilities and own custom integrations connecting our Voice AI agents to client infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our Operations and Engineering teams and B2B and B2G clients to develop, deploy, and troubleshoot reliable voice solutions.
