Job summary

AS Edutech Hr Consultant seeks a skilled Simulation Technician to prepare and operate high-fidelity simulators in medical education environments. You will set up sessions, manage AV controls, and support faculty with scenario-based training while maintaining equipment and safety standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with simulation gear, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to work under pressure during live simulations. Saud Arabia location; on-site position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Technology, IT, or related field.
• Hands-on experience in simulation labs or clinical labs preferred.
• Basic IT knowledge, troubleshooting and networking helpful.
• Experience with AV systems or simulation equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up simulation sessions (manikins, task trainers, AV systems).
• Operate simulation equipment during teaching sessions and assessments (e.g., OSCEs).
• Support faculty in delivering simulation-based learning (CBL, scenario-based training).
• Assist students in practicing clinical skills in a controlled environment.
• Equipment & Systems Management; operate and maintain high-fidelity simulators and task trainers.
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to simulation software and hardware.
• Manage simulation software, scenarios, and system updates.
• Maintain inventory of simulation equipment and consumables.
• AV & Control Room Operations; manage audio-visual systems, recording and playback.
• Support control room operations during simulations and assessments.
• Ensure proper functioning of cameras, microphones, and monitoring systems.
• Follow infection control and safety protocols; ensure equipment safety and maintenance.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with academic and accreditation standards.
• Coordinate simulation schedules with faculty and academic departments.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation for sessions and equipment.
• Assist in organizing OSCEs and clinical examinations.
