Job summary

Welspun Pipes Company seeks a Shift Incharge Engineer to ensure reliable operation of mechanical equipment in ductile iron pipe production. You will lead preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnose issues, and coordinate with production and utilities teams to minimize downtime.

The role involves leading modification projects, managing spare parts, and ensuring safety compliance. Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–10 years experience in heavy industry, preferably ductile iron pipes.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PM schedules for all machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and perform RCA.
• Lead improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement.
• Ensure safety standards and LOTO procedures are followed.
• Maintain maintenance reports and track KPIs.
