Job summary

AimGulf is recruiting for a Shift In Charge in tissue manufacturing in Jeddah. You will supervise shift operations, monitor tissue machine performance, and maintain production quality to meet defined standards.

The role requires 3–5 years in tissue manufacturing with supervisory experience and familiarity with high-speed tissue machines, Crescent Formers, and major vendor equipment. Full-time position in Saudi Arabia with family-status benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in tissue manufacturing, incl. shift supervision.
• Experience with high-speed tissue machines (1800–2000 MPM) preferred.
• Experience with Crescent Former Tissue Machines, stock prep, and headbox formation geometry.
• Experience with Valmet, Andritz, or Toscotec machines preferred.

Job description

Job Title:

Shift In Charge – Tissue Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage shift operations in the tissue manufacturing plant.
• Monitor tissue machine performance and ensure smooth, efficient production.
• Maintain production quality in accordance with established tissue quality standards.
• Monitor machine parameters, stock preparation, and tissue formation processes.
• Ensure optimal operation of tissue machines, Yankee dryers, shoe presses, and related systems.
• Identify production issues and coordinate corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with industrial safety procedures, including LOTO.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to achieve production targets.
• Maintain shift reports and ensure proper handover between shifts.

Experience Required:

• 3–5 years of experience in tissue manufacturing, including shift management in a supervisory role.
• Experience with high-speed tissue machines operating at 1,800–2,000 MPM is preferred.
• Experience with Crescent Former Tissue Machines, stock preparation, and headbox formation geometry.
• Experience with Valmet, Andritz, or Toscotec machines is preferred.

Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, B.Sc. in Chemistry, or a Bachelor’s degree in Paper Technology (outside the MENA region).

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of shoe press technology, Yankee dryers, cogeneration, and dual hood systems.
• Good understanding of tissue quality standards, including softness, moisture, sheet strength, formation, and bulk.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety standards, NEBOSH principles, and LOTO procedures.
