Job summary

Halliburton in Saudi Arabia is seeking experienced operators for field service roles to lead rigging and equipment operations on and offshore. You will plan job setup, supervise crew, and provide on-site customer support, ensuring safety and quality in high-pressure drilling environments.

The ideal candidate has 9+ years in oilfield drilling, including underbalanced or managed pressure drilling, with strong leadership and communication, and the ability to train junior staff and review job plans

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 9+ years of oil field drilling experience.
• 5+ years in underbalanced drilling or managed pressure drilling.
• Must meet Svc Spec III-GBA competency.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

Under general supervision:

• supervises, directs, and performs all phases of the rigging up and down of service line equipment on work locations both on and offshore.
• Provides the planning necessary for the job including equipment set up, well site direction, and customer related support activities.
• Responsible for the activities relative to maintaining, setting up, testing, and operating equipment at the customer location and field camp.
• Mentors and trains lower level Service Operators and Operator Assistants in areas of expertise.
• Monitors instruments and performs necessary calculations to ensure quality of data at the well.
• Consults with customers concerning services and products, promotes good customer relations at the well site, and ensures customer satisfaction with results.
• Properly maintains equipment and completes all job documentation.
• Conducts pre-job toolbox safety meetings, reviews and verifies job plan with customer representative, and manages any changes required.
• Must be able to review information received from Business Development to confirm best practices are followed and that proposed job plans meet customer's expectations in the most efficient manner.
• Must be able to communicate with other PSLs and third parties to ensure tool and well site activity compatibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership and communication skills are required.
• Good mathematical acumen is required.
• Good Reading Comprehension And Writing Skills Are Required.
• Skills acquired through completion of high school diploma and 9+ years experience in oil field drilling activities including 5+ years of underblanaced drilling and/or managed pressure drilling.
• Must have met the minimum competency requirements for Svc Spec III-GBA.
