Job summary

A leading industrial automation company is looking for a skilled professional in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia to provide technical support for its systems, including the Yokogawa Centum VP. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in maintenance and commissioning, with a background in Instrumentation & Control or Electronics Engineering. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, maintenance, and training clients, requiring flexibility for travel across KSA. Proficiency in English is essential, and fluency in Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8 years of experience with Yokogawa systems in Oil/Gas/Petrochemical/Power plants.
• Experience in onsite commissioning and contributing to service initiatives.
• Flexibility to travel throughout KSA and proficient in English and Arabic.

Key Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility for delivering prompt and exemplary technical support for the Yokogawa Centum VP system, ProSafe‑RS, PRM,
• Execute on‑site commissioning, start‑up assistance, and emergency supports.
• Manage inquiries, troubleshoot, conduct thorough investigations, analyze, test, and effectively resolve issues reported from client sites.
• Engage in add‑on/expansion service projects during the engineering, FAT, SAT, and commissioning phases.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Yokogawa’s product portfolio, encompassing hardware and software modifications and upgrades.
• Implement system modifications and enhancements, both online and offline, as required.
• Uphold customer satisfaction metrics, ensure optimal process uptime, and enhance system performance. Deliver specialized/customized training sessions to clients upon request.
• Contribute actively to Yokogawa’s service divisions growth initiatives, identifying avenues for additional services within the existing client base.
• Adapt to varying role locations (onshore/offshore) and durations, including short‑term or long‑term resident site support engagements.

Qualifications And Experience

• Hold a minimum degree in Instrumentation & Control / Electronics Engineering
• Possess 5 to 8 years of experience in maintaining Yokogawa DCS (CS3000 or Centum VP), Safety System (Prosafe RS), and Asset Management System (PRM), with proficiency in Foundation Fieldbus, Modbus, Profibus OPC, and networking.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting, predictive, and preventative maintenance of Yokogawa systems, complemented by extensive site start‑up and commissioning experience, preferably within Oil/Gas/Petrochemical/Power plants.
• Exhibit flexibility in extensive travel throughout KSA and adeptness in team collaboration, with proficiency in English (written, spoken, and reading) and additional fluency in Arabic being advantageous.

Competencies & Skills

• Command a robust understanding of Yokogawa Control system (DCS) & Safety system (ESD) engineering and online maintenance practices.
• Familiarity with safety standards, guidelines, and FSM concepts, with preference for TUV certification.
• Demonstrate superior troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem‑solving abilities, supported by proficiency in various control techniques, and optimization methodologies.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with a customer‑centric approach and a commitment to service excellence.
