Job summary

ARX | smart minds in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Wet Utilities Engineer with 8+ years of infrastructure experience, including at least 3 years in the KSA. The role covers potable water, wastewater, irrigation, and fire water networks within major projects, demanding strong design and hydraulic modelling expertise.

You will design and review wet utility systems, perform hydraulic calculations, coordinate with PMs and BIM/CAD teams, liaise with authorities, and guide junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in infrastructure projects with focus on wet utilities.
• At least 3 years of experience in the KSA.
• Strong knowledge of wet utility systems and design/construction practices.
• Familiarity with KSA codes and utility authority requirements.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee the design of wet utility systems for infrastructure projects.
• Perform hydraulic calculations, network modelling, pipe sizing, and other analyses.
• Ensure designs comply with local regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Coordinate with project managers and other engineering disciplines to integrate utilities.
• Coordinate utility corridors, crossings, connections, diversions, and interfaces with other disciplines.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports, plans, and documentation.
• Review designs and deliverables; provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Liaise with authorities, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
