Job summary

Sulzer is seeking a Senior Warranty Engineer to oversee warranty claims for pumps and rotating equipment in Riyadh. You will conduct technical investigations, RCFA, and coordinate actions with Engineering, QA/QC, and service teams to improve reliability and reduce warranty costs.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 5–10 years' experience in related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in pumps, rotating equipment, field service, reliability, or warranty management.
• Knowledge of API 610, API 686, API 682, and rotating equipment practices is preferred.
• Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCA/RCFA) skills.
• Strong technical report writing and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the complete warranty claim lifecycle from receipt to closure.
• Evaluate warranty entitlement and determine liability based on contractual terms and technical findings.
• Lead claim investigations and RCFA.
• Coordinate corrective and preventive actions with Engineering, QA/QC, Production, Procurement, Service, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for warranty-related matters.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and provide regular claim status updates.
• Participate in customer meetings and present investigation findings and recommendations.
• Conduct site visits, inspections, and troubleshooting activities as required.
• Support field service teams during warranty investigations.
• Monitor warranty costs and support recovery from suppliers when applicable.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote lessons learned to prevent recurrence.
