Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Launch Engineer to plan, coordinate, and execute all launch activities for new vehicle programs from concept to SOP.

You will interface with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Logistics, Program Management, and Product Development to ensure safety, quality, cost, timing, and volume targets are met. You will lead readiness assessments, build events, issue management, validation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in automotive manufacturing.
• Strong APQP knowledge and launch experience.
• Proven cross-functional leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate launch activities for new vehicle programs.
• Coordinate build readiness, events, and validity tests.
• Manage launch issues and drive closure with responsible teams.
• Assess manufacturing readiness and validate processes and equipment.
• Support NPI activities and track launch metrics.
• Lead cross-functional launch meetings and provide status updates.
• Develop launch dashboards and governance reviews.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to best practices.
