Job summary

Buro Happold in Riyadh is seeking a Senior Design Manager – Utilities to lead the utilities design on a flagship luxury project. You will oversee dry and wet utilities, corridor coordination, and interface with infrastructure, roads, architecture and landscape teams.

The role focuses on managing consultant teams, technical submissions, authority interactions, risk management and value engineering to optimise constructability and lifecycle performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or Utility Engineering.
• Significant experience leading utilities design on major developments.
• Strong cross-discipline coordination and reporting skills.
• Experience with authority approvals and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficient in BIM and digital coordination.

Responsibilities

• Lead utilities design management across all design stages.
• Oversee corridor and interface coordination with other disciplines.
• Manage consultant teams and review technical submissions.
• Coordinate with authorities and utility providers for approvals.
• Identify risks and drive value engineering initiatives.
