Job summary

KEO Group in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, seeks a Senior Transportation Engineer to join the Infrastructure team and lead traffic and transportation design efforts for large-scale developments.

You will develop transportation studies, master plans and models, coordinating with clients and authorities to deliver high-quality solutions in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Having membership of a professional institution is desirable.
• More than 10 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

• Preparing Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies and Transportation Master Plans.
• Preparing traffic survey data reports.
• Using SYNCHRO, Sidra and HCS to assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures.
• Supporting the development and interrogation of strategic and micro-simulation transport models including VISUM and VISSIM.
• Preparing and delivering presentations to Clients and Approving Authorities.
• Undertaking checks to ensure work is accurate and adheres to standards.
• Responding to proposals with technical approaches and financials.
• Developing relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients.

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Transportation Engineer to join our award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

This critical role will work as part of the Infrastructure team, developing traffic and transportation designs.

We envisage success in this role to include:

• Preparing Access and Circulation Studies, Transportation Impact Studies and Transportation Master Plans.
• Preparing traffic survey data reports.
• Using SYNCHRO, Sidra and HCS to assess intersection operation and develop improvement measures
• Supporting the development and interrogation of strategic and micro-simulation transport models including VISUM and VISSIM
• Preparing and delivering of presentations to Clients and Approving Authorities
• Undertaking checks and reviews to ensure others work is comprehensive and accurate and applies sound engineering principals and standards.
• Responding to requests for proposals - technical approach and financials.
• Developing strong communication and working relationships with colleagues, management, subcontractors, public agencies and clients which support collaborative work practices
• Managing own continuous development and support the development of colleagues.
• Supporting the development of master plans for new cities and towns
• Working to client requirements using CUBE & STEAM tool.

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Civil Engineering or equivalent and more than 10 years of experience in a similar position. Having a membership of a professional institution is desirable.

Furthermore, you should demonstrate:

• Proven experience as part of a multidisciplinary team providing transportation advice and solutions on large scale developments.
• Experience with ITC in Abu Dhabi, RTA in Dubai, MoTC in Qatar and other GCC regional municipalities.
• Proficiency in software such as CUBE/STEAM/VISUM/VISSIM, Synchro, Sidra, HCS, CAD, Auto-turn. Also Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Microsoft Project.
• Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
