Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Transport Modeling - Network Planning expert in Riyadh to lead metropolitan travel demand analyses and network planning efforts. You will forecast corridor demand, evaluate congestion, and support transportation investments with data-driven recommendations.

The role requires extensive experience in four-step and multimodal modeling, GIS, and programming to deliver actionable insights for citywide mobility planning and infrastructure development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Transport Planning, or a closely related discipline.
• Advanced degree in transportation or civil engineering strongly preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in transportation planning, travel demand modeling, or network analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic transportation modeling, network planning, and travel demand analysis for Riyadh.
• Apply metropolitan travel demand models to evaluate patterns, corridor demand, and congestion.
• Develop and validate forecasts for major corridors and development zones.
• Provide QA on studies and ensure alignment with strategic mobility goals.
• Translate model results into practical recommendations for infrastructure planning.
