Job summary

slihrms is seeking a Senior Traffic & Detour Engineer to lead planning, development, and monitoring of traffic management for bridge and infrastructure construction in Saudi Arabia.

You will design TTMPs, coordinate detours, review impacts of construction activities, and ensure compliance with Saudi standards and client requirements, while prioritizing road user safety and efficient network operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering required.
• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering is desirable.
• Professional registration or membership in a recognized engineering institution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement TTMPs for bridge and infrastructure construction.
• Prepare traffic diversion schemes to support phased works.
• Review staging and traffic impacts from bridge erection and road closures.
• Coordinate lane closures and traffic diversions during construction.
• Conduct traffic studies, analyze volumes and queue lengths.
• Ensure safety-focused design and compliance with guidelines.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and authorities for approvals.
• Monitor performance and maintain documentation.
