Confidential is seeking an experienced Chief Surveyor to lead all surveying activities across large-scale landscape, infrastructure, and construction projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Surveying Engineering, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of surveying experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of surveying principles, drawings, and site construction methods.
• Proficiency with GPS, Total Station, Auto Level, and Civil 3D.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines across projects.
• Professional certifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise surveying teams across multiple project sites, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project specifications.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute all surveying works including topographic surveys, setting-out, as-built surveys, and boundary verification.
• Review project drawings, design layouts, and technical documents to determine surveying requirements and methods.
• Establish and maintain control points, benchmarks, and reference systems in accordance with project needs.
• Verify and ensure accuracy of measurements, levels, and coordinates across all site activities.
• Prepare and submit detailed survey reports, calculations, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, site engineers, and construction teams to ensure proper implementation of designs.
• Monitor and maintain surveying equipment, ensuring calibration and readiness for site operations.
• Identify potential issues related to site levels, alignments, or design discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards in all surveying activities.
• Conduct training and performance evaluations for survey crew members.
