Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Land Surveyor for a major Riyadh public realm project. You will lead site verification, setting-out control, topographic and as-built surveys, and coordinate management across roads, utilities, and landscapes.

The role requires precise measurement, contractor verification, and collaboration with engineers to ensure design intent is met. Ideal candidates have extensive land/engineering surveying experience, lead-site supervision, and proficiency with total stations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Extensive experience in land surveying or engineering surveying on large-scale infrastructure, public realm, or urban development projects.
• Several years of experience in a senior or lead surveyor capacity.
• Proficient with total stations, GPS/GNSS, digital levels, and related survey equipment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the lead surveyor for site surveying and setting-out verification.
• Supervise and coordinate the project survey team across construction areas.
• Review contractor surveying activities for compliance with project requirements.
• Check control points, benchmarks, and reference coordinates established by contractors.
• Verify survey quality, alignments, levels, coordinates, and dimensions.
• Maintain organised survey records for handover to client.
