Job summary

HanmiGlobal MENA seeks a senior Geomatics/Surveying Engineer to perform precise field measurements, boundary assessments, and topographic mapping for projects in Riyadh. You will lead survey activities on-site, collaborate with design teams, and ensure compliance with local regulations.

The role requires a strong background in geomatics, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, and total stations. Excellent communication and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, Leica, Trimble).
• In-depth knowledge of land surveying techniques, mapping standards, and local regulations.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and spatial awareness.
• Effective communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with legal land boundaries and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct land, topographic, and construction surveys using GPS, total stations, and other precision equipment.
• Interpret and analyze survey data to produce maps, site layouts, and reports.
• Establish control points, boundaries, and benchmarks per project specs.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to integrate survey results into designs.
• Ensure survey work complies with standards, requirements, and safety regulations.
• Maintain and calibrate survey equipment regularly for accuracy.
• Prepare technical documentation including drawings, records, and reports.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure alignment with designs.
• Resolve discrepancies between design data and field conditions.
• Supervise junior survey staff and coordinate on-site survey tasks.
