Job summary

Atkins Realis Group seeks a Chief Surveyor to lead all surveying activities for road and infrastructure projects. You will ensure accurate measurements, mapping, and data collection to support design, construction, and quality control.

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership, and coordination with engineering and construction teams on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.
• Extensive surveying experience for road and infrastructure.
• Proficiency with surveying instruments and mapping software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all surveying operations.
• Conduct topographic, boundary, and construction surveys.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, levels, and alignments for roadworks and structures.
• Supervise survey teams and allocate tasks effectively.
• Prepare and review survey reports, maps and drawings.
• Integrate survey data into design and construction plans.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and project managers.
• Monitor compliance with project specs, safety standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments and equipment.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve survey-related issues on-site.
• Ensure timely delivery of survey data to meet project schedules.

Your role

Requirements

• Bachelor s/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, or related field.Extensive experience in surveying for road and infrastructure.
• Proficiency in surveying instruments (Total Station, GPS, Theodolite, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other mapping software.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and integrate survey data.
• Leadership skills to manage and train survey teams.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
