Job summary

HMH seeks an experienced engineer to conduct onsite inspections and support structural and piping projects. The role requires reviewing drawings, producing accurate layouts, and supervising fabrication, installation, and repair activities at client facilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering diploma or higher required.
• 5+ years in structural and/or piping fabrication and repairs.
• 5+ years on oil drilling rigs (onshore/offshore).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, 3-D software is a plus.
• Ability to read piping diagrams and isometrics.
• Willingness to work in extreme environments.

Responsibilities

• Conduct category inspections onsite per API RP 4G standard.
• Inspect and supervise structural and piping components.
• Provide drafting/engineering support to Engineering Dept.
• Assist fabrication, installations, surveys and repairs at subcontractor and client facilities.
• Develop BOM/replacement materials after site visits.
• Provide technical support to DLS and Sales Teams.
• Mentor and train junior service engineers.
• Ensure drawings are accurate; update engineering with changes.
