Job summary

Confidential seeks a qualified Structural Inspector to join our Project and Construction Management team for a major roads and infrastructure program in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will supervise contractors, verify compliance with structural drawings and specs, and support the project team in delivering high-quality construction supervision services.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction supervision of structural works (roads/bridges/tunnels/infrastructure).
• Ability to read and interpret detailed structural drawings, rebar schedules, specifications, and method statements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of structural works including RC and steel structures, foundations, walls, culverts, tunnels, precast elements, formwork, shoring, rebar installation, and concreting.
• Ensure materials, workmanship and activities comply with project specs, drawings, ITPs and international standards.
• Monitor QA/QC procedures, method statements, and safety requirements on site.
• Report non-conformances and follow up on corrective actions.
• Maintain records of inspections, test results, and daily progress.
• Coordinate with testing labs and verify required structural tests are performed and documented.
• Review RFIs and participate in approval processes.
• Support Senior Structural Engineer in reviewing shop drawings and submittals.
• Monitor structural integrity during concrete pouring, prestressing, post-tensioning, and erection.
• Assist in verifying as-built documentation and handover of structural works.
• Coordinate with civil, geotechnical, utilities and road inspectors.
