Job summary

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy is seeking a qualified Saudi National Electrical Engineer to join the O&M team for our solar power assets in Wadi Ad Dawasir. The role focuses on ensuring performance, safety, and reliability across site electrical systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, is certified by the Saudi Council of Engineers, and has 5+ years of experience with 1–2 years in renewable energy, emphasizing solar O&M ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers certification is required.
• Minimum 5+ years total experience in electrical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine operations, preventive maintenance, and corrective troubleshooting of site electrical systems.
• Perform basic and advanced electrical maintenance on transformers, switchgears, inverters, and distribution panels.
• Monitor solar array performance metrics, track faults via SCADA, and maintain PV field.
• Conduct regular diagnostics, voltage checks, and insulation testing to minimize downtime.
• Ensure field maintenance adheres to local safety regulations and company HSE standards.
