Job description

Project Preparation Phase

• Edit and modify drawings and documents to ensure data integrity.
• Review and prepare drawings and documentation as directed by the Construction Manager.
• Initiate and execute engineering change process.

Project Construction Phase

• Make daily inspections to ensure project quality.
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Manage and develop junior members of the setting‑out team depending on experience.
• Assist the Construction Manager / Site Agents with site records, method statements and permits as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Architecture or Civil Engineering graduates required.
• 7 to 10 years of experience, with a minimum of 5 years managing site activities.
• Prior experience in a high‑volume retail building environment strongly preferred.
• Wide knowledge of computer use.
• Skill and experienced use of 2D/3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Primavera or Microsoft Project.
• Ability to read, edit, modify and understand construction plans.
• Good communication skills.
