Job summary

MDS for Computer Systems (MDS CS) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, invites applications for a Site Project Engineer to lead on-site engineering activities, manage project deliverables and ensure alignment with budget and schedule.

The role requires a bachelor’s in engineering and at least 3 years of relevant site experience; you will coordinate resources, supervise staff, drive safety compliance and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of site engineering experience.
• Ability to coordinate resources and manage projects on site.

Responsibilities

• Formulate project parameters and ensure technical feasibility and quality in coordination with the direct manager.
• Coordinate and allocate internal resources to deliver customer outcomes.
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned projects on site.
• Cooperate regularly with the direct manager and report updates on budgets, schedules, plans and performance of site projects.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create more efficient project methods and maintain project’s profitability.
• Create a framework to measure the project’s metrics and data collection while recommending improvements.
• Establish field test methods, conduct regular quality checks and ensure the project’s compliance with applicable practices, policies, performance standards and specifications.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure abidance by occupational health and safety measures.
• Prepare site reports and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Manage changes to the project scope, schedule and cost in coordination with the direct manager

The Site Project Engineer is responsible for managing, engineering construction projects and ensuring the proper implementation of project deliverables. S/He supervises and provides technical advice to the staff on site to complete the project on time and within budget.
