Job summary

DSA Architects International seeks a Senior Site Architect who co-leads the Site Supervision team with the Project Lead Architect to ensure compliance with contracts, employer requirements, quality standards and project objectives. The role manages on-site supervision, design coordination, QA/QC, stakeholder communication, and delivery of complex projects.

Candidates should have an engineering or architectural diploma, 10–15 years of site experience, and familiarity with FIDIC provisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise architects, inspectors, document controllers, and support staff on site.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, FIDIC provisions, DSA procedures, and quality standards.
• Coordinate site activities with clients, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
• Review and manage RFIs, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests.
• Oversee QA/QC processes, site inspections, testing, mock-ups, and contractor performance.
• Issue and track Site Observations (CSOs), Non-Conformance Notices (NCNs), and Site Instructions.
• Maintain project records, drawings, specifications, correspondences, registers, and progress reports.
• Chair and attend technical, QA/QC, progress, and close-out meetings.
• Monitor site safety, housekeeping, and compliance with approved construction methodologies.
• Review contractor programs, payment applications, progress reports, and value engineering proposals.
• Support change management, design coordination, authority approvals, and project close-out activities.

The Senior Site Architect co-leads the DSA Site Supervision team alongside the Project Lead Architect, ensuring compliance with construction contracts, employer requirements, quality standards, and project objectives. The role is responsible for managing site supervision activities, design coordination, QA/QC processes, stakeholder communication, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• Engineering / Architectural diploma or an equivalent degree / certification.
• 10-15 years of site experience.
• Middle East hospitality experience is preferred.
• Proficient with FIDIC Contract Implementation.
• Experience in leading a multidisciplinary team is a must.
• Aconex, Bluebeam, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Office, Snagging (Field, SNAGR, 4P, other).
• Revit would be advantageous.
