Job summary

Decima International is seeking a site-based CSA Site Engineer to supervise and verify civil, structural and architectural works on data center projects. The role focuses on construction quality compliance, technical coordination, progress monitoring and handover support in mission-critical environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong CSA site supervision experience and the ability to coordinate with contractors, consultants, MEP, ICT and commissioning teams to ensure safe, on-time project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong experience in CSA site supervision and inspection.
• Experience reviewing shop drawings, method statements, submittals, and ITPs.
• Knowledge of raised floors, plinths, and high-spec construction.
• Data center or mission-critical project exposure.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect contractor civil, structural, and architectural works.
• Verify compliance with drawings, specifications, approved materials and project standards.
• Coordinate CSA works with MEP, ICT, commissioning and other project disciplines.
• Track progress and flag risks related to sequencing, constructability and quality.
• Support inspections, testing, mock-ups and quality verification activities.
• Attend coordination and technical meetings with project stakeholders.
• Verify completed works and support contractor payment validation when required.
• Support snagging, punch list closure, as-built review and handover documentation.

Role Overview

We are seeking a site-based CSA Site Engineer to supervise and verify civil structural and architectural works on data center projects The role focuses on construction quality compliance technical coordination progress monitoring and handover support within mission-critical environments

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong CSA site supervision experience and the ability to coordinate effectively with contractors consultants MEP ICT and commissioning teams

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect contractor execution of civil structural and architectural works
• Verify compliance with drawings specifications approved materials and project standards
• Oversee concrete steel masonry finishes waterproofing access flooring and architectural fit-out works
• Review shop drawings IFC drawings material submittals method statements and ITPs
• Coordinate CSA works with MEP ICT commissioning and other project disciplines
• Track progress and flag risks related to sequencing access constructability and quality
• Support inspections testing mock-ups and quality verification activities
• Report CSA-specific issues progress updates and risks to project leadership
• Verify completed works and support contractor payment validation when required
• Support snagging punch list closure as-built review and handover documentation
• Attend coordination and technical meetings with project stakeholders
• Ensure contractor compliance with safety quality and project procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Engineering , or a related discipline. Strong experience in CSA site supervision and inspection. Solid knowledge of civil, structural, and architectural execution in high-specification construction environments. Experience reviewing shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and ITPs. QA/QC awareness for structural and architectural works. Ability to monitor contractors, verify compliance, and report progress accurately. Strong coordination skills across CSA, MEP, ICT, and commissioning interfaces. Good understanding of sequencing, constructability, access, and site quality risks. Data center or mission-critical project exposure. Hyperscale or colocation facility experience. GCC project experience. Experience with tolerance-sensitive construction. Familiarity with raised floors, equipment plinths, dry finishes, fire-rated partitions, and ceiling coordination. Experience in phased handover or live project environments. Familiarity with Aconex, Procore, AutoCAD, or drawing review tools.
