TAWANTECH is seeking a Senior ServiceNow Developer to lead technical design and deployment on the Now Platform. You will drive ITSM workflow optimization, build advanced App Engine applications, and contribute to platform upgrades without service disruption.

The role requires senior-level expertise, strong scripting skills, and experience leading technical teams, with CAD/CSA certifications as prerequisites.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of dedicated ServiceNow development and architecture experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of the Now Platform, ITSM processes, and low-code/pro-code development within App Engine.
• Advanced scripting with JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Service Portal widgets.
• Certifications: CAD and CSA are required; CAS in App Engine or ITSM Implementation Specialist is preferred.

Responsibilities

• ITSM: Develop enhancement requirements for ITSM suite to enhance automation and employee experience.
• Develop custom dashboards and reports for management and business units.
• App Engine: Design and engineer complex scoped custom enterprise applications using App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub spokes.
• Platform Governance: Share experience on technical standards, managing update sets, code reviews, and maintaining platform health and performance.
• Advanced Integrations: Architect complex bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and MID servers.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Lead and mentor junior developers, translate business vision into technical requirements, and guide stakeholder expectations.

Position Overview

We are seeking aSenior ServiceNow Developer to assist/lead in technical design, architecture, and deployment of solutions on the Now Platform.

In this high-impact role, you will champion the organization platform strategy, driving the optimization of IT Service Management (ITSM) workflows and engineering complex, strategic custom applications using IT Workflows and ServiceNow App Engine.

You will also be contributing to scheduled platform upgrades, plugin updates, and making sure they do not impact on the existing services and process.

Key Responsibilities

• ITSM:Develop enhancement requirements related to ITSM suite (Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, Service Catalog) to enhance automation and improve employee experience.

Develop custom dashboards and reports for management and business units.

• App Engine:Design and engineer complex scoped custom enterprise applications utilizing App Engine Studio, Flow Designer, and advanced IntegrationHub spokes.
• Platform Governance:Share experience on technical standards, managing update set, oversee code reviews, and maintaining overall platform health, upgradability, and performance.
• Advanced Integrations:Architect complex bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow and external enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and MID servers.
• Mentorship & Collaboration:Lead and mentor junior developers, collaborate with product owners to translate business vision into technical requirements, and guide stakeholder expectations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience:6+ years of dedicated ServiceNow development and architecture experience.
• Subject Matter Expertise:Expert-level knowledge of the Now Platform, ITSM processes, and low-code/pro-code application development within App Engine.
• Advanced Scripting:Mastery of JavaScript, Glide API, Script Includes, Business Rules, UI Actions, and Service Portal widgets.
• Certifications:Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA) arerequired. Certified Application Specialist (CAS) in App Engine or ITSM Implementation Specialist is highly preferred.

Soft Skills:Proven experience leading technical teams, managing cross-functional projects, and communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
