Job summary

Penspen seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer - Rotating for a major FEED project in Al Khobar, KSA. The role leads rotating equipment engineering across FEED, detailed design and EPC phases, developing data sheets and vendor specifications for compressors, pumps, turbines and related systems.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in Oil & Gas, with at least 8 years in rotating equipment on large projects, plus exposure to construction and commissioning. Saudi Aramco standards familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 12+ years experience in Oil & Gas sector.
• At least 8 years in Mechanical Rotating for major Oil & Gas/Petrochemical projects.
• Exposure to construction & commissioning phases.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards; EPC/FEED experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotating equipment engineering activities for FEED, detailed design and EPC phases.
• Develop data sheets, specifications, and requisitions for rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, turbines, blowers).
• Review vendor offers and perform technical bid evaluations; participate in design reviews.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO and international standards.
• Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation and electrical disciplines for equipment integration.
• Provide technical support during procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning.
