Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect in Saudi Arabia to design sustainable outdoor spaces along highways and infrastructure corridors. You will analyze terrain, climate, and environmental factors, and coordinate with civil engineers and architects to integrate landscape elements.

The role requires 15+ years’ experience and proficiency with AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Excellent communication and budgeting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in landscape architecture.
• 15+ years of experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of urban design, horticulture, soil science, hydrology and sustainability.
• Experience on infrastructure or road projects.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong project management and budgeting abilities.
• Ability to prepare cost estimates and manage budgets.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site analysis of terrain, soil, climate and environmental impact.
• Design landscaping plans for highways, medians, sidewalks and green spaces.
• Develop drainage, erosion control and planting schemes for infrastructure.
• Collaborate with civil engineers, architects and contractors on landscape integration.
• Prepare drawings, 3D models and construction documentation.
• Supervise on-site landscaping activities and monitor budgets and timelines.
• Select native, drought-resistant species to reduce maintenance costs.
