Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Risk Manager in Umluj, Saudi Arabia to lead risk management across complex projects. The role will develop and monitor risk processes, governance, and risk logs, ensuring timely identification, evaluation and mitigation of risks and opportunities for the program.

The ideal candidate has 20+ years in risk management, with at least 5 years in construction/engineering, and holds engineering or business qualifications (risk qualification preferred).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 20 years' experience in Risk Management.
• At least 5 years as Risk Manager in Construction/Engineering.
• Graduate in Engineering / Business or equivalent.
• Risk Management qualification or equivalent preferred.
• Understanding and experience of complex projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and management skills.
• Track record of risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and monitor a risk issue and opportunity management process.
• Develop and maintain a risk matrix identifying dependencies and impacts.
• Identify, monitor and manage dependencies and resolve related issues.
• Identify opportunities to arrange discussions to realise benefits.
• Monitor projects and ensure a robust Risk Management process is active.
• Implement Risk Management Plan, Risk Log, and governance process.
• Track significant risks and ensure they are identified, recorded, evaluated and communicated.
• Identify and manage inter-program or external risks.
• Identify and manage internal program-related risks.
• Review and update Risk Log against Program Status Reports & Meetings
