Job summary

Mace Group is seeking a Senior Manager – Systems Assurance to lead independent systems assurance, safety, RAMS, and integration across major rail and transit programmes in the Middle East and Africa. Qualifications

• Educated to degree level (or equivalent).
• Proven leadership in systems assurance and rail projects.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing skills.
• Ability to provide independent, evidence-based technical challenge.
• Knowledge of EN 50126 and rail programme assurance.
• Experience with RAMS and safety assurance in complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent systems assurance leadership across major rail and transit programmes, ensuring compliance with client requirements and industry standards.
• Establish and oversee systems assurance frameworks, governance structures, and assurance strategies throughout the lifecycle.
• Lead the review of Systems Assurance Plans, System Safety Plans, RAM Plans, Verification & Validation Plans and related deliverables.
• Oversee RAMS strategies, performance targets, and lifecycle assurance activities.
• Monitor system integration across multidisciplinary rail systems and ensure EN 50126 compliance.
• Oversee assurance governance, audits, and reporting across delivery teams and suppliers.
• Manage stakeholder interfaces with clients, delivery partners, designers, operators, and regulators.
