Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee all contract activities for a major rail project during the construction phase. You will ensure compliance, manage negotiations, and provide support during supervision, coordinating with multiple departments to guarantee successful execution.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in contract management, familiarity with FIDIC, and strong leadership and negotiation skills. Rail or transportation project experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business administration, or related field; master's preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPCM) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 12 years of contract management experience in construction/infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of contract law and industry standards; rail experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of all contracts for the project, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Lead negotiations for complex contractual issues with clients, contractors and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and advise on opportunities and threats.
• Provide regular progress reports to client and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Claims Manager to ensure robust responses to claims.
• Ensure provision of necessary technical data to Contract Administration Senior Manager.
• Prepare and deliver contractual presentations as required.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure legal, financial and corporate compliance.
• Drive progression through contractual progress meetings.
