Job summary

Atkins Realis Group in Medina seeks an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee contract administration for the project, ensuring compliance with legal, financial and corporate protocols. You will lead negotiations with clients, contractors and stakeholders, and manage multiple contracts effectively.

The role requires a bachelor's in engineering or related field, a master's preferred, CPCM or equivalent, and at least 12 years in contract management, preferably in infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCM or equivalent are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, construction contracts, and industry standards.
  • Familiarity with FIDIC contracts is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts and stakeholders effectively.
  • Prior experience working on a rail or transportation project will be a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee administration of all project contracts ensuring compliance with legal, financial, and corporate protocols.
  • Lead negotiations for complex contractual issues representing the organization in discussions with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing advice on potential opportunities and threats.
  • Provide regular progress reports to the client and internal stakeholders highlighting any contractual risks and opportunities.
  • Liaise with the Claims Manager to ensure a robust response to any claims in compliance with the contract.
  • Ensure the provision of all necessary technical data to the Contract Administration Senior Manager.
  • Prepare and deliver contractual presentations as required.
  • Work closely with the required departments to ensure compliance with any legal, financial, and corporate protocols.
  • Drive progression via contractual progress meetings ensuring all contractual obligations are met.

Your role
