Job summary

Astron Group is seeking an experienced QC Welding Inspector to oversee welding inspection and quality control activities on project sites. The role ensures welding works comply with approved project specifications, quality requirements, and Saudi Aramco standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in welding QC.
• Minimum 2 years of experience on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Must have passed CBT.
• Strong knowledge of welding inspection and QC procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection of welding activities, weld fit-up, joint preparation, welding workmanship, and completed welds.
• Verify compliance with approved welding procedures, drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Review welding-related inspection records, documentation, and test reports.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams, welding personnel, NDT teams, contractors, and client representatives.
• Identify welding defects, deviations, and non-conformities and support corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection reports, checklists, weld records, and quality documentation.
• Ensure inspection activities comply with project quality and safety requirements.
