Job summary

Core Code io in Riyadh region is seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Analyst to evaluate applications against functional, technical, and business requirements. You will design test scenarios, execute manual and automated tests, and report defects clearly to developers and product teams.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of software quality assurance and testing methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of the SDLC and testing techniques.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong defect identification and documentation abilities.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
• Knowledge of web apps, APIs, databases; SQL basics is a plus.
• Exposure to automated testing concepts and tools is beneficial.
• Attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication.
• Ability to translate requirements into effective testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specs to identify testing needs.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
• Execute manual and automated tests across software applications and environments.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
• Analyze defects and provide detailed information to support resolution.
• Retest resolved issues and perform regression testing to ensure quality.
• Validate software functionality against requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing when required.
• Maintain records of test results, defects, and QA activities.
• Monitor testing progress and communicate quality risks and recommendations.
• Participate in release validation and deployment readiness activities.
• Support UAT and production validation when required.
• Analyze recurring defects and suggest quality improvements.
• Contribute to continuous QA process improvements.
