Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Middle+ General QA Engineer based in Saudi Arabia to strengthen quality across web and hybrid applications. You will manage quality activities from early feature stages through release, combining manual testing with test documentation, API validation, log analysis, and test automation support.

The role involves validating user experiences across desktop and mobile browsers and collaborating with a multinational engineering team to foster strong QA practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial experience in software testing or QA.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes, tools, and best practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining test documentation including test cases, checklists, and bug reports.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA and TestRail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, XML, JSON; basic JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience cross-browser testing on desktop and mobile.
• Experience with BrowserStack.
• API testing with Postman.
• Experience analyzing logs with Kibana.
• Upper-intermediate English; effective communication with international teams.
• Experience with hybrid apps, PWAs, and native apps a plus.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Playwright, or WebdriverIO is an advantage.
• Interest in AI-powered testing tools and growing into a general QA engineer role.

Responsibilities

• Own the QA process within the assigned team from feature development to final release.
• Promote quality culture by collaborating with engineers and stakeholders.
• Perform manual testing: functional, exploratory, regression across desktop and mobile browsers.
• Conduct UI/UX testing for web and hybrid apps ensuring usability and consistency.
• Design, maintain, and execute test cases and checklists.
• Create clear bug reports with steps, expected vs actual results.
• Support automated testing efforts to expand coverage.
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing via cloud services like BrowserStack.
• Test APIs using Postman and validate client-server interactions.
• Analyze logs with Kibana to identify root causes.
• Collaborate with dev/product teams to identify risks and resolve issues.
• Provide QA support through release processes for stable updates.
