Parsons Corporation in Riyadh seeks a senior Construction Director for Public Venues to lead strategy, site execution, and delivery of complex venues and infrastructure. You will manage contractors, coordinate with design and legal teams, and ensure safety and quality across programs.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years of leadership in high-profile construction, experience with theaters or major public facilities, and strong skills in BIM, governance, and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Minimum 20 years of experience delivering major building and infrastructure construction projects.
• Proven track record in delivery of complex theaters, large public venues, or major public facilities.
• Strong leadership and experience managing large teams, contractors, and delivery partners.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall construction strategy, phasing approach, site execution plan, and delivery roadmap for complex public venue developments.
• Lead construction activities across the district, ensuring work aligns with objectives, milestones, budgets, and quality standards.
• Oversee construction of major buildings, theaters, public venues, infrastructure packages, and utility corridors.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, temporary works proposals, logistics plans, and sequencing plans.
• Manage contractors, consultants, construction managers, and delivery partners for safe, efficient execution.
• Coordinate with design, engineering, project management, commercial, procurement, legal, and stakeholder teams to resolve delivery issues.
• Support procurement planning and contract administration with commercial and legal teams.
• Monitor progress through KPIs, dashboards, reports, inspections, and audits.
• Lead site inspections and quality reviews to ensure design intent and codes are met.
• Promote BIM, CDE platforms, and digital reporting in construction activities.
• Ensure safety, environmental, sustainability, regulatory, and quality standards are met.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation to protect schedule and cost.
• Represent construction in senior leadership meetings with clear updates and actions.
• Mentor the construction management team to build a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Engage with government entities, utilities, community reps, and internal stakeholders.
