Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking a Senior Project Engineer – Mechanical/Piping with 10+ years of experience in refinery and petrochemical piping projects. The candidate should have hands-on piping engineering, project execution, and Saudi Aramco standards exposure, with PMP preferred.

The role requires leading cross-disciplinary teams, reviewing layouts and drawings, and ensuring compliance with quality and health, safety, and environment procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant project experience.
• Strong refinery and petrochemical piping project experience.
• Proven project execution/site engineering background.
• Recent experience with Saudi Aramco standards is mandatory.
• Strong coordination across disciplines and project execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical and piping engineering activities during project execution.
• Manage piping engineering deliverables, interfaces, docs, and requirements.
• Review piping layouts, P&IDs, isometrics, specs, materials, and drawings.
• Coordinate with Process, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Construction, and Procurement teams.
• Monitor piping installation and construction to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and standards.
• Review and resolve technical queries, RFIs, design changes, and site issues.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards, specs, codes, quality, and HSE.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors on technical and execution matters.
• Monitor progress, deliverables, interfaces, and key milestones.
• Participate in inspections, design reviews, progress meetings, and commissioning/pre-commissioning activities.
• Provide technical support for piping-related troubleshooting.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on expertise in piping engineering, project execution, multidisciplinary coordination, and Saudi Aramco standards, with PMP certification preferred.

• Strong working knowledge of SAEP, SAMS and SAES.
• PMP Certification – Preferred.
• Strong multidisciplinary coordination and project execution capabilities.
