Job summary

Parsons is seeking a highly experienced Project Controls Manager to lead a team overseeing mission-critical projects. You will manage schedules, EVMS, and deliverables while coordinating with the Project/Engineering Manager to ensure timely execution.

Requirements include 20+ years in planning/scheduling and fluency in English. The role involves contractor interaction, progress reporting, and support for proposals, with a strong emphasis on schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in civil/construction or related field is required.
• 20+ years in planning/scheduling for projects, preferably with EVMS.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review contractor schedules for project compliance.
• Engage with contractors to develop delivery, recovery, and mitigation plans.
• Create detailed schedules with resource/cost loading at activity level.
• Maintain deliverable lists for each design project with the PM/Engineering Manager.
• Implement a deliverable-based progress model and coordinate updates with leads.
• Use Earned Value Management to assess schedule and cost performance.
• Maintain weekly Earned Value Analysis dashboards at project/sector levels.
• Review contractor schedules, monitor work progress, and report to PM.
• Prepare weekly/monthly progress reports on construction status.
• Support proposals by developing schedules for new pursuits.
