Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in project controls, planning, programme reporting, or PMO.
  • Experience producing senior‑level PMO/ programme reports.
  • Strong knowledge of roads, infrastructure, scheduling, cost, and change reporting.
  • Expert‑level Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support programme reporting, analytics, and performance communication with PMO PRC Senior Reporting Manager.
  • Lead preparation and continuous improvement of the PMO Weekly Progress Report.
  • Develop new reporting products, dashboards, and analytical tools as required by client or PMO leadership.
  • Ensure reports are concise, accurate, and aligned with governance and Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Consolidate inputs from PMCMs and PMO managers across planning, progress, cost, change, risk, and project controls workstreams.
  • Verify data before inclusion in PMO reports, ensuring alignment with the IMS.
  • Protect report integrity under tight deadlines and ad‑hoc requests.
  • Translate technical data into clear content for senior client and PMO review.
  • Coordinate with PMO discipline managers to validate assumptions and strengthen narratives.
  • Challenge unclear or low‑quality inputs to improve reporting accuracy.
  • Produce executive summaries, dashboard updates, and briefing packs under pressure.
  • Present reports and insights to senior client representatives and PMO management.
  • Support data flow improvement, dashboard logic, and reporting templates.

The role supports senior PMO leadership by converting complex schedule, progress, cost, and change data into accurate, concise, decision‑ready reports that align with governance standards and the Integrated Master Schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the PMO PRC Senior Reporting Manager to support programme reporting, analytics, and performance communication.
  • Lead preparation, coordination, and continuous improvement of the PMO Weekly Progress Report.
  • Develop new reporting products, dashboards, summaries, and analytical tools from scratch when required by the client or PMO leadership.
  • Ensure all reports are concise, accurate, internally consistent, and aligned with the department governance framework.
  • Consolidate inputs from PMCMs and PMO managers across planning, progress, cost, change, risk, and project controls workstreams.
  • Verify reported data before inclusion in PMO‑issued reports, ensuring alignment with the Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Protect the integrity of PMO reporting under tight deadlines, changing priorities, and ad‑hoc reporting demands.
  • Translate raw technical data into clear reporting content suitable for senior client and PMO management review.
  • Manage PMCM reporting interfaces to ensure inputs are timely, complete, usable, and aligned with reporting expectations.
  • Coordinate with PMO discipline managers to clarify assumptions, validate data, and strengthen reporting narratives.
  • Challenge unclear, inconsistent, incomplete, or low‑quality reporting inputs in line with governance requirements.
  • Respond quickly to ad‑hoc client and PMO reporting requests while maintaining accuracy and presentation quality.
  • Produce short‑notice executive summaries, dashboard updates, briefing packs, and performance analysis under pressure.
  • Review reporting outputs from the reader's perspective, ensuring that key messages, risks, trends, and decisions are easy to understand.
  • Present reports, dashboards, insights, and analysis to senior client representatives and PMO management when required.
  • Support reporting improvements by identifying gaps in data flow, dashboard logic, templates, charts, and reporting processes.
  • Use Primavera P6, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint to prepare high‑quality programme reporting outputs.
  • Maintain consistent reporting formats, data structures, version control, and supporting evidence for issued reports.
  • Support continuous improvement in reporting governance, automation, data visualization, and executive communication.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in project controls, planning, programme reporting, or PMO performance reporting.
  • Background as a planner, senior planner, project controls engineer, or programme controls professional at project or programme level.
  • Demonstrated experience producing senior‑level PMO, PMC, PMCM, or programme management reports.
  • Strong understanding of roads, infrastructure, construction, planning, progress tracking, schedule analysis, cost reporting, and change reporting.
  • Expert‑level capability in Primavera P6, Microsoft Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong ability to consolidate complex planning, progress, cost, and change data into executive‑ready reporting outputs.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong focus on internal consistency, data integrity, and report quality.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven PMO environment with frequent ad‑hoc reporting requests.
  • Confident coordinating with PMCMs, discipline managers, programme controls teams, and senior PMO stakeholders.
  • Able to identify inconsistencies, challenge weak inputs, clarify assumptions, and improve reporting accuracy.
  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret programme data, identify trends, and prepare concise performance narratives.
