Job summary

Client of CS & Clarks in Riyadh seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to design and implement procurement strategies for large-scale construction projects, aligning with timelines and budget constraints. You will lead vendor evaluation, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and work closely with project managers and finance teams to optimize costs while ensuring quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the construction industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations.
• Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Vendor Management: Identify evaluate and select suppliers based on project requirements; build strong vendor relationships.
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers and draft/review contracts to ensure compliance.
• Cost Management: Collaborate with project management and finance to control costs and budgets.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure procured materials meet project standards.
• Risk Assessment: Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Compliance: Stay abreast of local and international regulations related to procurement.
• Reporting: Generate and analyze procurement-related reports for stakeholders.
• Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers and engineers to understand procurement needs.
