CS & Clarks, a leading construction firm, seeks a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee procurement activities for a major Saudi Arabia project in Riyadh. You will develop strategies, manage vendors, and lead negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring timelines and budget adherence.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and finance to optimize costs, manage risks, and ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of procurement management experience in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and vendor evaluation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local and international procurement regulations.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers; maintain vendor relationships.
  • Lead contract negotiations and review terms for compliance.
  • Control costs and optimize procurement budgets with project management and finance.
  • Collaborate with QA to ensure materials meet standards.
  • Assess risks in supply chain and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Generate procurement reports for stakeholders and provide progress updates.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to plan procurement needs.

Our client is aleading construction firm committed to delivering high-quality projects. We arehelping them seeking a seasoned Procurement Manager to oversee the procurementactivities for a major construction project in Saudi Arabia (Riyad).

Key Responsibilities
  • Procurement Strategy:Develop and implement procurement strategies alignedwith project goals and timelines.
  • Vendor Management:Identify,evaluate, and select suppliers based on project requirements. Build andmaintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Contract Negotiation:Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorableterms and conditions. Draft and review contracts to ensure compliance withproject specifications.
  • Cost Management:Workclosely with project management and finance teams to control costs and optimizeprocurement budgets.
  • Quality Assurance:Collaboratewith the quality control team to ensure that procured materials and servicesmeet project standards and specifications.
  • Risk Assessment:Identifypotential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation plans to ensureuninterrupted project progress.
  • Compliance:Stayabreast of local and international regulations related to procurement andensure adherence to legal requirements.
  • Reporting:Generateand analyze procurement-related reports for project stakeholders. Provideregular updates on procurement progress.
  • Team Collaboration:Coordinatewith project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understandprocurement needs and incorporate them into project plans.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, BusinessAdministration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in theconstruction industry, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contractmanagement, and vendor evaluation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local and international procurementregulations.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft OfficeSuite.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tightdeadlines.
