Job summary

Premium Solutions Consultancy client seeks an experienced Senior Procurement Engineer to support procurement operations in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, ensuring timely completion of procurement activities and maintaining accurate records. The role requires 8–12 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, and direct-hire employment.

Responsibilities include RFQ preparation, supplier negotiation, MRP input, documentation, and supplier evaluations, with emphasis on Arabic/English

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in relevant/specialty procurement functions.
• Minimum 2 years at supervisory level.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement processes and documentation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent negotiation and coordination abilities.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Complex problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
• Ability to work effectively at both head office and project site environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Supervisor in managing and completing procurement activities
• Prepare and issue RFQs to identified suppliers
• Follow up with suppliers to obtain quotations promptly and secure competitive offers
• Prepare MRP and ensure all procurement steps are properly considered
• Collect and verify all necessary procurement documents from relevant parties
• Follow up with suppliers for product manuals catalogues samples and other required technical documentation
• Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best commercial offers
• Prepare price comparison sheets for procurement evaluation
• Prepare purchase orders based on approved procurement requirements
• Maintain accurate and updated procurement records at all times
• Follow up on material deliveries and supplier payments
• Ensure effective implementation of procurement policies and procedures
• Prepare required procurement reports and documentation
• Conduct supplier and subcontractor evaluations
• Maintain and regularly update the supplier database
• Coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations
