Job summary

SHRI KRISHNA PLACEMENT seeks an experienced Downstream Process Engineer with Solomon Benchmarking expertise to lead benchmarking studies and drive refinery performance improvements. The candidate will mentor junior engineers, evaluate capital project impacts on benchmarking, and deliver periodic management reports with actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of refinery process engineering experience.
• At least 7 years in Solomon Benchmarking and refinery analysis.
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Experience with Solomon benchmarking methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Solomon benchmarking studies, ensuring data accuracy and relevance.
• Conduct on-site data collection, validation, verification, and quality reviews during benchmarking assessments.
• Analyze Solomon benchmarking results to evaluate plant performance and competitive positioning.
• Prepare detailed technical reports with findings, recommendations, and performance improvement plans.
• Develop and execute strategies to close identified performance gaps and achieve measurable operational improvements.
• Prepare and implement expense optimization and margin improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with refinery operations teams to establish performance targets and monitor progress using Solomon metrics.
• Evaluate the impact of capital projects and process modifications on Solomon benchmarking performance.
• Prepare periodic benchmarking reports and present key performance insights to senior management.
• Mentor junior engineers on Solomon benchmarking methodologies and best practices.
