Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall is seeking an Associate Quantity Surveyor (Pre-Contract Services) to join our Riyadh team. You will lead pre-contract cost management, develop robust cost plans, and provide cost optimization and tender support across complex projects.

You will mentor junior staff, manage client relationships, and ensure compliance with RLB standards while contributing to business development within the Saudi market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• MRICS or equivalent professional accreditation is preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' post-degree experience in QS/cost management in consultancy.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of pre-contract quantity surveying and cost management across multiple projects.
• Mentor Senior QS, QS, and Graduate QS.
• Review deliverables for compliance with RLB standards and quality requirements.
• Provide strategic cost and commercial advice through design and procurement stages.
• Lead tender documentation, evaluations and procurement recommendations.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities across projects.
• Support business development through proposals and client presentations.
