Job summary

Rider Levett Bucknall is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead post-contract commercial activities on major projects in the Middle East. The role requires independent ownership of cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and commercial strategies, with a focus on value delivery and risk mitigation.

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, and professional membership or in-progress status with RICS/AIQS/CIOB.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Professional membership or working towards membership of RICS, AIQS, CIOB, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quantity Surveying, with proven experience at QS level.
• MENA experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage post-contract commercial activities across assigned projects.
• Prepare interim valuations and payment applications.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Evaluate project risks and opportunities and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Assist in achieving project profitability targets.
• Administer construction contracts in accordance with project requirements.
• Interpret contractual obligations and provide commercial advice to project teams.
• Maintain variation registers and support entitlement and cost recovery.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
