Job summary

Soundlines Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional with 8–10 years of plumbing design experience to coordinate and verify plumbing scope within a multidisciplinary project team. The role involves hydraulic calculations, BIM coordination, and development of shop drawings and isometrics for construction and handover.

You will review drawings, manage clashes in Navisworks, and coordinate with consultants, clients and other MEP disciplines to ensure code-compliant, efficient plumbing

Qualifications

• BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8–10 years of relevant Plumbing Design Engineering experience in design, BIM coordination and construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform and coordinate collection verification and integration of plumbing scope into the project plan.
• Prepare quality plumbing shop drawings and isometric drawings for construction and handover.
• Review and approve plumbing drawings and BIM models; coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical and fire protection disciplines.

Qualifications

BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.8–10 years of relevant experience in Plumbing Design Engineering, with strong exposure to plumbing system design, hydraulic calculations, BIM coordination, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction projects.Candidates should have strong hands‑on experience in plumbing design and engineering, with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors, and other MEP disciplines.Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, LOD 300–400 BIM modelling, hydraulic calculations, shop drawings, and plumbing equipment selection will be highly relevant.
