Soundlines Group is seeking a Mechanical Engineering professional with 8–10 years of plumbing design experience to coordinate and verify plumbing scope within a multidisciplinary project team. The role involves hydraulic calculations, BIM coordination, and development of shop drawings and isometrics for construction and handover.

You will review drawings, manage clashes in Navisworks, and coordinate with consultants, clients and other MEP disciplines to ensure code-compliant, efficient plumbing

Qualifications

• BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 8–10 years of relevant Plumbing Design Engineering experience in design, BIM coordination and construction projects.

Responsabilités

• Perform and coordinate collection verification and integration of plumbing scope into the project plan.
• Prepare quality plumbing shop drawings and isometric drawings for construction and handover.
• Review and approve plumbing drawings and BIM models; coordinate with architectural, structural, HVAC, electrical and fire protection disciplines.

Perform and coordinate the collection verification and integration of plumbing work scope into the overall project plan Prepare quality strong plumbing shop drawings coordinated drawings and as-built documentation strong for construction and handover Perform strong design validation design verification and drawing reviews strong with consultants and obtain approvals Design analyze and coordinate safe efficient and code-compliant plumbing systems Perform detailed strong hydraulic calculations and pipe sizing strong Design and develop Domestic Cold Hot Water Distribution SystemsSanitary Drainage Vent SystemsStormwater Drainage SystemsRainwater Harvesting SystemsSewage Collection Lifting SystemsWater Storage TanksBooster Pump SystemsTransfer Pump SystemsSelect and size plumbing equipment including strong pumps water heaters valves accessories and related equipment strong Prepare strong plumbing layouts riser diagrams schematics and isometric drawings strong Review and approve plumbing drawings BIM models and shop drawings Coordinate plumbing systems with strong architectural structural HVAC electrical and fire protection strong disciplines Ensure designs comply with project specifications client requirements applicable plumbing codes and authority requirements Develop and coordinate detailed strong BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 400 strong Use strong Navisworks strong for clash detection and resolve design conflicts at early stages of construction Participate in design reviews and client meetings Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers Extract strong BOQs schedules and technical data from BIM models strong to support project planning and execution Support timely project delivery while maintaining design quality and coordination standards strong IPC International Plumbing Code strong strong UPC Uniform Plumbing Code strong IPC UPC Commentary strong NFPA strong where plumbing interfaces with fire protectionLocal municipality and utility authority requirementsApplicable project specifications and plumbing standards

Qualifications

BE / BTech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.8–10 years of relevant experience in Plumbing Design Engineering, with strong exposure to plumbing system design, hydraulic calculations, BIM coordination, multidisciplinary coordination, and construction projects.Candidates should have strong hands‑on experience in plumbing design and engineering, with the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, contractors, and other MEP disciplines.Experience with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Navisworks, LOD 300–400 BIM modelling, hydraulic calculations, shop drawings, and plumbing equipment selection will be highly relevant.
