Job Description

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized exclusively in plumbing systems for residential projects. The role covers plumbing design, technical office responsibilities, site supervision, and final handover, with full ownership of all plumbing-related works from design to execution and acceptance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design residential plumbing systems including cold & hot water supply, drainage, vent, and stormwater systems.
• Prepare, review, and approve plumbing shop drawings.
• Prepare and review BOQs and technical specifications related to plumbing works.
• Review and approve plumbing material submittals and suppliers.
• Supervise on‑site execution of plumbing works and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical teams to resolve clashes and technical issues.
• Conduct and approve plumbing tests (pressure testing, leakage testing, flushing).
• Perform sectional, final, and handover inspections for plumbing works.
• Review and approve as‑built drawings.
• Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code and relevant local standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience specifically in residential plumbing works.
• Proven experience in technical office (design & shop drawings) and site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and Saudi Building Code requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit is a plus).
• Strong inspection, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred

• Experience with villas, apartment buildings, or multi‑unit residential developments.
• Background in real estate development or contracting companies.
